I am sorry to say this battery is a big disappointment. I know how to take care of camera batteries--I had my original camera battery for 15 years. This one lasted less than a year--will not even charge anymore.
Not sure there is a good choice out there anymore.

Great product.

First the sum up and then the story if you want to read it. For the price this is a great battery after a few uses, do not hesitate on buying these for the price you could have a couple spare.
Story: This battery came free with a bundle I purchased. I was suprised to see the higher mah rating than the stock and expected it to give me atleast another 100 shots more than the stock does. First use I got less shots than the stock but after about 3 cycles the number of shots I could take went up and gave me slitely more photos than the stock battery (same conditions). I have about 20 cycles on this now and it is still holding up but I do not think it is as reliable as the stock so this has been my secondary. For the price do not hesitate it is a good battery and I will purchase more.

Not bad great for the price

They charged up great the first time I used them. Lasted a whole day + of shooting (over 1200 shots on my D60). However, when I went to recharge them a second time they were completely dead. They would not accept a second charge. The charger is not to blame as it's happily charging my other ENEL9 batteries, but these will not charge. Would not recommend and am hoping for my $ back.

This came with a kit...I haven't really used it yet, I just charged it up and threw it in my camera bag as a backup battery. It's battery so it should work, not sure how it compares to the brand name Nikon batteries but I'm sure it'll work fine. It did charge a lot quicker than the Nikon brand batteries I have, not sure if that is cause for concern.

It's a battery...

With a full charge, this replacement Battery only lasted an hour and when I returned home with the camera turned off.  The Battery was dead.

It Keeps Going and Going...

I bought a Nikon D40 and decided to try an after market grip w/two battery capacity, this of course led to purchasing a second battery(purchased from Adorama a year ago). That battery lasted all of five charges. I would always use/charge both batteries at the same time and only noticed a drop in the PBL (private brand label) battery at the last use, then it would not charge at all while the factory original was still good for  more. My best guess is that there is no internal circuitry (in the grip) to deal with each batteries load delivery. I now have another after-market battery from Adorama and have decided to use them one at a time to see if I can increase the life span...we'll see.
