Most Liked Positive Review

I've purchased three of these

I take hundreds of photos in a session and this battery can fill up more than one memory card. I have three (two as backups) and I can go on long trips without fear of running out of power. Great battery.

Decent Battery

Seems to last at least as long as the Pentax battery. Doesn't slide into the charger with the same, reassuring "click" as the Pentax battery. But, it works well in camera. We'll see how its longevity compares to the Pentax battery.

Replacement batteries

I've been using these in my Pentax cameras for several years without a problem. Thankfully the new K3 uses the same one so I bought two more. They last as long if not longer than the Pentax branded.

Great alternative to OEM

This came as a package. However if it hadn't I would have bought it anyway. I have one that fits the K20, and it has been flawless

Seriously? Don't buy this battery!

Thought I would get a couple of these "Power 2000s" last year because of the price...well, you get what you pay for. These batteries don't hold their charge very well and even when new, deplete much faster than Pentax brand. Case in point: I charged two of these batteries this past Friday night and shot only about 20 pictures on Saturday. Sunday the battery was dead so I pulled the other one out of my camera bag and it was already completely depleted without being used. Put my Pentax battery in on Sunday as a result and it is still reading a full charge after shooting Sunday and Monday. If you're in a pinch and need an emergency battery for those "just in case" times...this battery is OK. But make sure you charge it just before you plan on using it and don't let it sit for a day or two.

Works perfectly

A great battery for the price point. I live in France and this was inexpensive compared to others in my region. Works well with aftermarket charger and OEM charger (K-5).

Too early to give any useful info. Charged it up when I got it with my K5 kit, but have not used it yet. Still on the first charge of oem battery.

Questions about this item:

JOHN H  I have a Pentax K5 and recently purchased the K5II. The battery for the K5 (DL-i90) has three contacts. The battery for the K5 II (DL-i90P) has four contacts. are they interchangeable? Thanks, J.T.
WILLIAM B  I would think not, by having an extra contact. I don't have the K5 II, only the K5. I also have a K20, but that uses a complete different battery.
JOHN H  William B: Thanks for your input. Just FYI if you ever get into the K5 II here is what I found from a review of the K-5II from a Review done by Mark Goldstein, November 2012: On the bottom of the K-5 II is the weather-sealed battery compartment, housing the same rechargeable 1860mAh D-LI90 lithium-ion battery as used by the K-7 and K-5. I also found a couple of other sources that confirm Mark's review. Thanks again, J.T.
