Good battery worth the price.
I bought the battery as a backup for my camera.

Doesn't last nearly as long as Canon
These do work, but they are not as long lasting and they do not accurately read their state of charge. The battery indicator looks full and then the camera reports no charge just before it's ready to die. I'm buying canon batteries at a discount. I'm guessing these last about half as long as Canon LP-E8 or possibly less. I've had these for about 7 months and they seem like they don't last as long as when I first got them.

I use in camera, and for my hobbie.
This battery is a replacement to a battery I bought almost two years ago. Considering the cost of the Canon vs this battery I think this is a good buy. Because I have multiple batteries when this one died and wouldn't recharge it wasn't a big inconvenience.
I use this as an additional battery in the battery grip for my Canon T2i. The last one I had lasted about 3 years; not as long as the Canon battery, but certainly great as a backup for the price.
I used this over about a year and a half, charging it a few dozen times and rotating with other batteries. The last time I used it, the charger registered a full charge but power being provided to the camera was unstable - causing image flicker, ghosting and other problems. Within about 5 pictures, the power meter went from full to flashing red, then shut off. One of the cells in the battery likely failed.
The fit was like the oem, and it works like oem in a canon t4i with no issues. Only time will tell how long they last compared to oem but at 1/2 the price if they lastn1/2 as long as oem your good.
Good quality replacement
Just got the camera and this was an extra in the bundle so I have no comments at this time exept that I was impressed with how quickly it charges. Good storage case as well.
Had one less than a year. Won't hold a charge more than a few days. Can't take more than 40 shots when fully charged.
Canon batteries are much more expensive than this one, so it's a decent low-cost alternative to extra ready power. That said, the battery life isn't remotely comparable to the Canon. This runs out quickly by comparison. It also routinely fails to register in my battery-grip and the camera controls can't read from it to gauge battery life... but it DOES work and in conjunction with the regular Canon battery in a battery grip, I can easily go three days of decently active shooting and upwards of 32Gb of pictures before a recharge is needed (between the two batteries). I wouldn't make it my only backup if I were doing this commercially, but for the hobbiest, it works good enough for the price, and you can keep a few stockpiled for longer shooting weekends if need be.
This is a great little replacement battery for the Canon EOS T2i. At the price it sells for, it's worth having a couple in your camera bag. Charges quickly and lasts pretty well compared to the oem battery that Canon supplies.
