Shopper : will this work with gf2?THOMAS D : It Will, but you won't get the battery display on screen when using this battery. Which can be a little annoying at times. Other than that, seems to work fine.WILLIAM M : I use this battery on a DMC-G3, which uses the same battery size. It should work for the GF-2 as well, but it may or may not meter the amount of power left. Panasonic eased up on requiring their own (chipped) batteries with my newer camera. The Power 2000 battery is a fine back-up, it lasts almost as long as the original, but does run out a little more suddenly near the end of its charge. All in all I think it is great, and far cheaper than the Panasonic battery.YOSUKE I : Yes, the battery works with my gf2 but it does not show battery remaining.LISA T : Sorry, I do not know the answer to your question. I purchased this battery by mistake. It works in the GX1 and I have a GF1 and need to exchange.

A great balance of quality and cost

When buying a replacement battery for my Lumix four-thirds camera, I debated buying OEM or second manufacturer. In the past, I have found that choice to be a gamble but went for the latter option anyway. I am pleasantly surprised at how fast this charges and how long it holds its charge.

Doesn't hold a charge

I would not recommend this battery. It doesn't even come close to the stock battery in use and holding a charge. I will keep it as an emergency backup but going with Panasonic OEM batteries from here on out...

Better Than A Lot of Reviews

I use this battery in a Panasonic G3 Camera. I don't know if it's the battery or the camera or the combination of the two, but the battery life is short and there is little warning that it is going dead. I now own three batteries in order to feel safe about a good day of photography.
