Questions & Answers

Shopper : Will the Power 2000 ACD-410 battery work on a Nikon d7100?RANDOLPH H : yes, they should work with no problem.RANDOLPH H : They should. They work fine in a D7200/VICTOR H : Yes it will. It worked with my D7000 and D600.STEPHEN C : I bought two of these batteries for my D7000 shortly after they came out. They still serve me well in my current D600, I highly recommend them as back up batteries. They do not hold a charge as long as a Nikon battery. If it is for a replacement battery and you'll only have one I'd recommend spending the money on a genuine Nikon battery.DAVID I. F : Yes.JAY A : The en-el 15 battery fits the D7100, and that corresponds to the Power 2000 in question. You are FAR better off buying the Nikon EN-EL 15 in my opinion. My Power2000 is not as good a battery. Your call, of course!THOMAS K : Yes.
RUSSELL W : Can I use this battery with my nikon d600?RANDOLPH H : There shouldn't be a compatibility problem. It works on my D7200 just fine.JAY A : You can, but my experience with this battery isn't good. Maybe I got a bad one but my Power2000 battery doesn't keep a charge very well. My advice is to buy a Nikon battery. Yeah it's more $$, but in this case I'd say it's worth itARTHUR S : The Power2000 EN-EL15 has lived up to my expectations. It operates and charges like the original battery. So far it has held its charge well. I do recommend this product.MARK L : I don't know. Works well on my D7000.ALADIN A : I have a d800 and it works fine with no issues. I thought that the d600 uses the same battery, so I would think it would work in the d600. I don't know if Nikon has put a restriction on 3rd party batteries with the d600.LEWIS F : yesTIM M : It is the same shape and voltage as the Nikon battery. It has slightly larger stated capacity, 2200mAh vs 1900mAh which should not affect anything except perhaps a little longer shooting life before recharging. I am using one in my D800RAVI R : Yes. I have used it with D600 and it works just fine.VICTOR H : Yes. I have used it with my D600 and my D7000. There have been no issues.LINDSEY M : Yes, I have D7000 and D600 and they both use EN-EL15ULRICH E : Yes you can. Regards UliDR BARRY I : Yes, I have the Nikon D-600 and bought this battery as a backup.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?DEBORAH L S : Wanted an additional battery for my camera - good price.JAY A : Wanted to see if this was a good replacement for the OEM battery. It is not.DAREN P : Great alternative to the expensive Nikon battery. Works just as good.

decent replacement for the OEM battery

Comparable to the OEM version of the EN-EL15 at half the price. I'm using them with my new D7200, which can eat up power if you're doing lots of shooting. At the Adorama price, I can have two backup batteries for the cost of one OEM battery.

Not as good as the original

I got mine as part of a package. The original Nikon EN-EL15 is far better at holding a charge.

Okay backup battery

This battery doesn't supply power to the camera as long as the original Sony battery. However it is a relatively inexpensive back up battery when you need something for a short shooting session. I start the day with the Sony battery and carry this one as an extra in case I need it.

Seems to be a quality item

I haven't had a chance to use the battery much yet, but have experience with Power2000 equipment and expect good results. And the price is right!

Works like a battery

We use both OEM and "off brand" batteries for our cameras. We've never had an issue. They seem to work just like a battery should. We use a numbering system on our batteries so we can see how old they are, etc... that helps provide metrics for us should a problem arise. We've seen a slightly less lifespan in some "off brands" and within different batches of the same "off brand" batteries but nothing substantial that warrants paying OEM prices for Canon or Nikon (we use both).

Never worked properly

Got the Power2000 as an extra for my D7200. From new, I had to keep pulling the battery out of the camera and re inserting it to make it work. The camera had a hard time recognizing the battery especially when fully charged. Not recommend... Ron Wischer

Less cost equal or better performance

With 12 cameras I am looking for anything that provides the utmost quality at a substantial savings. My selection of the Power/200 en-el15 was the right choice.

Nikon's GX EL-EN15 brand died in 70 days.

Purchased my D810 seventy-five days ago and the GX brand EN-EL15 battery that came with my camera died last week. The camera has shot less than 2500 photos so it's not over used. I see some have said to purchase this battery because the Power2000 is junk and barely lasts a year. Well Nikon's GX didn't last 71 days. What's a photog to do??? Has anyone had real success using another brand of EN-EL15 batteries that they can recommend?

I bought this to have a backup but didn't realize it has a 15+% higher mAh rating. So far, so good but time will tell.

Junk - Do not buy

This battery no longer takes a charge in either the fast charger or the nikon charger. The Nikon battery that I bought at the same time is still working great.

Spend the extra $14 and the Nikon en-el1

Mistakenly ordered this sub standard battery. I'm n the process of returning. I don't trust that the Nikon D810 charger for the en-el15 battery is charging this correctly. Based on the chargers never ending rapid blinking - I'm not even going to risk putting this in to my an expensive camera. Go with the Nikon en-el15 and you'll have piece of mind.

This battery works just as well as the Nikon stock battery that came with the camera. Was part of a bundle for a Nikon D610 and works great.

Very good BAttery

This battery is not a Nikon brand. It does work well with the Nikon D7100. I have only used it as a back up battery. It holds a charge very well and appears to be reliable.

Typical replacement issues

The battery is inexpensive, but does work if you need a spare, just don't expect it to last as long as Nikons own batteries as it will disappoint if you do.

Received as part of a package deal

The Nikon brand batteries really do perform the best. Have tried a couple bargain brand varieties and although they usually work, they do not last as long between charges. Will always prefer the Nikon if it is possible.

Good product

Always good to have a backup. Battery life with the D610, while not bad, does not appear as great as the D7000, as have seen the meter drop after a couple of normal (150 photo) shoots. When traveling in Europe, I think I recharged the battery once in two weeks, but not certain if the D610 would last that long. Always good to have a spare, which I didn't with the D7000.

"No perceptable difference"

I have two of this replacement for Nikon DSLRs brand batteries used in rotation with the original Nikon battery. They are numbered to keep track for charging cycles. There is no difference in power loss during a shooting day w/Power2000 vs the OEM Nikon battery. Always one in camera, one in the bag and one in the charger (unless no need to be charging). The cameras can't tell the difference.
