This is a good alternative to the others
I bought this TC because I could not find a Tamron or Sigma. Later on, I found a Tamron, used it, compared it, and sold the Tamron and kept this TC. It is the same or better and better price.

Well worth the money, great price!
This converter works just like it should on a pentax k-x with a 300mm lens. Takes a
little while to get familiar with it, but works the way you want it to, takes good crisp pictures!

Exceeded my expectations
I have it bridging my Pentax K-x and the 55-300mm zoom lens it came with. It's been a permanent fixture since I bought it. I take bird pictures and this helps me get closer to the birds at a much lower price than a 400mm lens. Works best with the sensitivity of the camera cranked up to iso1600 in shutter priority mode with the shutter speed at 1/320th or faster.

Not useable with SDM lens
Bought this to use with PENTAX DA* 200xf2.8 also bought here.

Does not work with SDM lens
Bought this to use with the DA* 200/that I bought at the same time. It will not work evan in manual.
