Does the job

from Brooklyn, NY  -  Photo Enthusiast

Great value in a protective UV filter. This lens appears to have a reasonably high quality ring with a very clear optic glass filter. I have not been able to detect any image degradaton with my Sigma DP2M. Light transmission seems excellent but I haven't tried testing for this. Seems to be excellent value.

A good UV filter

from Washington, DC  -  Photo Enthusiast

A good UV filter that functions well and provides good lens protection in harsh conditions such as field work.

Pro Optic

I mainly use it as a lens protector and it hasn't failed me yet. My camera gets banged around alot in crowds shooting in the city and this has protected my lens.

Shopper  Do all the pro optic filters have threads on the outside to add another filter such as a polarizer?
Christian R  I can't speak to ALL Pro Optic filters, but all of the filters I've purchased thus far have had the threads also on the outside.
