It does the job quite well
I have been using this adapter with Carl Zeiss Jena 20mm and 35mm lenses. I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can't seem to focus to infinity. Otherwise this adapter is great. Easy to take it off the camera too. Just remember to press the lens release button on the camera body while twisting the adapter counter clockwise to remove.

Connect your vintage Russian lenses to the modern DSLR!
I bought this adapter so I could mount my vintage Russian lenses with the M42 screw mount adapter to my modern Nikon D810. Why would I do that? The Russian lenses are beautiful, sharp, and dirt cheap. I have used other adapters and always felt like I was about to damage my camera. This one fits perfectly.
