I bought these along with some Steiner Safari Pro's to compare and choose the best of the two. The image was much crisper, brighter and easier to focus than the Steiners. I don't wear glasses, but the Pentax do have twist out eye cups for those who require it. I returned the Steiners the next day. These Pentax are on par with my Nikon 8x42 Monarch ATB as far as contrast, brightness and clarity. THe image is very good out towards the edges and no hint of barrel or pin distortion. The PENTAX DCF SW binoculars are available in 8x25 and 10x25 models and offer high-resolution phase-coated and super-reflective coated roof prisms to provide high resolution, high contrast images. Waterproof and nitrogen filled (JIS Class6), the DCF SW models allow submersion up to 3 feet.
The ultra compact, dual hinge design is exceptionally portable. Helicoid eyepieces ring with four click stops offer the most comfortable eye relief and the fully multi-coated lenses increase light transmission and color quality.
The long eye-relief allows for viewing with or without glasses and the click-stop adjustment locks in the righteyepiece diopter. The Rubber covered exterior provides a sure grip and protects the internal mechanisms. All PENTAX binoculars feature a Worry Free Warranty.
