Works like a champ

What can I say - it isn't rocket surgery. It works flawlessly, per design, on both my K20D and PZ-1 to tether the AF540FGZ off-camera and retain TTL/P-TTL functionality. I prefer this adapter to the Adapter FG simply because it has the hot shoe on top so I can tether the 540 and still connect an RF trigger to control additional strobes. The only minor issue is the P5 socket is on the right side rather than the left so when using a flash bracket the 5P cable dangles across the camera body.

Excellent piece of equipment

Simply put, this product does what it is designed to do. It is always good to get my flash off the camera.

Excellent product

I use these Pentax flash connecting accessories when shooting outdoors in bright light and many other applications. I love the versatility of the system and the fact that the on camera flash can be used in conjunction with off camera flash, and still retain full auto capabilities. It's especially useful when the camera is in manual exposure, and then the flash is used on P-TTL (or TTL on older models) to provide fill in high contrast situations.

For off camera flash with PZ cameras. Mounts to the hot shoe of the camera.
