A real economic solution

Recently I changed our small audio system to a 'full audio and dubbing system with turntable, CD recorder, cassette player, computer interface, and AM/FM tuner'. Found out that the machine is great but the speakers are pretty dull. So I asked the company if it's possible to connect external speakers. Their answer was "yes, but only to active speakers" which I found out would cost ~ $ 400.- for the smallest pair. Now knowing that I need an amplifier for the output of this machine I stumbled over this little amplifier .... and it works wonderfully! Great sound again with my old external passive speakers.
