The Pyle PMHMS20 Wired Headset Omni-Directional Microphone is a small microphone that I use in a large lecture hall where I teach Sociology courses at Purdue University. I plug it into a power battery provided at the lectern, put this into a slack's pocket, and am good to go anywhere in the room. Students can hear me just fine. And this microphone is modestly priced.
