About Pyle PSCHD60

The PyleSports PSCHD60 Full HD 1080P Action Camera/Camcorder (Black) captures wide-angle 1080p HD video and takes 12-megapixel still photos. It features a 2.4-inch touchscreen for video playback and settings configuration and a remote for wirelessly starting video and taking photos. The camera records to microSD memory cards and has a USB 2.0 interface for transferring files to your computer, as well as charging the internal 1500mAh lithium-ion battery.

The PSCHD60 records Full HD 1920x1080p video at 30fps and 1280x720p at 60fps. It also records VGA 640x480 at 120fps for clear slow-motion playback of hi-speed footage. In addition, the camera captures JPEG still photos at resolutions of 12, 10, 8, or 5 megapixels. Putting the camera into "Vehicle Mode" will shut off the viewing screen while taking video after a set time to preserve battery life when mounting the camera on moving vehicles. It will also continue recording after the memory is full by deleting the earliest previous recordings. For viewing your footage on your HDTV, a mini HDMI port is provided.

For a variety of mounting options, the PSCHD60 comes included with a suction cup mount for cars and boats, a handlebar mount for bikes and motorcycles, a helmet mount and a slideboard mount. It also includes a waterproof case rated for depths of 9.8 feet, a USB cable and a car charger.

Not worth the money

from Provo, Utah  -  Budget Shopper

2 of these products arrived in not working condition. Screen was backlit but blank. USB was not recognized. If a product is junk, don't sell it at a discount. Just don't sell it at all.

from Atlanta, Georgia  -  Casual User

The camera didn't work. Pyleaudio required me to register before they would correspond. They offered to replace the pschd60 camera. They want $5 for return shipping. This is on top of the expense I'll incur sending it to them. I'm not going to do that. It didn't work right out of the box. Shame on these folks.

Shoddy Workmanship

from Fremont  -  Casual User

The camera works fine but the workmanship is not worth the money. The camera mounts are vitually useless. The mounting bolts are hardly long enough to make good contact with the camera and if you use a little pressure to screw the camera on, the plastic threads of the camera mount strip and then you cannot mount the camera at all. This occurred right away so never got the camera to mount anywhere. Save your money and buy the Hero.

Phil B  What is the maximum range for the remote?
Andrew R  Unfortunately the manufacturer does not specify.
Phil B  Thanks for answering my question about the remote range. Second question: How does the still image quality compare to the Gopro Hero 3 black. Can one expect a good quality 8X10 print?
