About Pyle PT659DU

The Pyle PT659DU is dual Stereo Cassette Deck with Tape USB to MP3 Converter. With it not only can you convert your old cassettes to MP3 files, you can also copy from cassette to cassette, if you just love cassettes and don't want to part with them. And you can dub them at normal or high speed. Dynamic noise suppression helps keep tape hiss and other artifacts to a minimum.

You can use conventional metal tapes or for higher quality use chromium dioxide (CrO2) tapes. A handy front-panel selector makes it easy to switch. When dubbing or simple playback is finished the tape transport shuts down automatically.

You've got RCA line in and line out jacks as alternatives to get music in and out of the device in addition to a USB port to connect to a PC or Macintosh computer.

Questions about this item:

eli g  how fast is the converting process like reg. time or it goes fast?
German Eduardo V  does the PT659DU record, play and dub tapes or is it a player only?
Andrew R  This unit plays and records. "Normal/High Speed copy function (Direct-dubbing from Cassette in two speeds)"
Ray S  Does the PT659DU Pyle Dual Cassette player have Auto-Reverse? Also, will it automatically go to deck 2 for continuous play when the tape on deck 1 is finished playing?
DICK S  No, unfortunately does not have auto-reverse. I have not tried loading 2 tapes for the continuous play (just purchased recently) though I doubt it. Is a no-frills machine, but the sound quality is fine so far.
