Andrew R  The RCA audio output on this unit appears to be line level, a pre-amp or phono-amp does not appear to be necessary. This unit does not appear to have a ground terminal.
Shopper  can I transfer music to my PC?
Helmut S  The description says that you can transfer analog music to mp3 stored onto a flash drive or SD card. All newer computer operating systems can play back mp3. You might need a mp3 editing application to trim the mp3. These can be found as share or free ware for Windows of Mac OS.
