What I use for my favorite lens
This filter was recommended to me by a friend who is a professional photographer as well. I didn't mind paying the higher price because I wanted the best quality filter with the best optics for the similarly pricey Canon 85mm f/1.2 lens. The filter has a corrosion resistant brass edge and ultra clear optics.

High Build Quality
During summer months my camera is subjected to extremes of cold and high temperature. The coating on the Rodenstock glass repels the moisture and facilitates cleaning. The brass ring is corrosion resistent and very nicely machined and coated. The glass appears crystal clear. The filter is expensive, but once you handle it and examine it, you'll know you got what you paid for. If your camera is in and out of high/low temperature extremes, try this filter.
