RAYMOND P : I recently purchased this mic in a camera kit. Don't seem to be able to get any sound when attached to my D7000. Are there any internal settings in the camera that I might be missing? Checked various camera manuals, but no useful info.STEPHEN G : There are internal camera controls - you should check that the sound is on. The only time I've had no sound with the mic is when I forgot to turn it on - when you turn it on, does the little green LED light up? The switch on mine is a little tricky.
