I found the adapter very useful as now I can use my Pentax screw mount telephoto lens on my EOS Canon. I am able to achieve infinity focus with my lens which I could not with the regular T-Mount adapter. Had no trouble using the adapter. Easy to mount and remove, especially if you remove adapter while still screwed on to telephoto lens. The telephoto lens gives you something to grab on when removing it from camera. Only disadvantage is you cannot use the automatic features on the Canon EOS when using the adapter. You can only use it in the manual mode like the old days of photography. This is not an issue in my case since I am using it for long exposure astrophotography where automatic features really are of no use. Other than that the product is a great buy, especially if you prefer to photograph manually! I do recommend this product!

With my 40 year old pentax 50mm f1.4 lens, I take portrait and astrophography with my canon digital eos. The standard zoom lens that came with my camera is way too slow for my special work.

I purchased this adapter to use with an older 400mm prime lens on my Canon DSLR's. It was relatively inexpensive and worked as advertised. It provided a very inexpensive means for me to get a 400mm lens on my camera for under $25. Can't beat that!

There really isn't much to say about this adapter. It does what I expected it to do, allow me to use my old Pentax lenses on me Canon EOS digital camera. It works like a charm and saved me from having to buy a whole set of new lenses!

Excellent value - but ensure you are prepared with a removal tool (flexible grip etc) to remove it when used.

The only issue I see with this asapter is that it should have been black, as most camera bodies are black.

I inherited two old 500mm f/8 lenses. One was a Paragon telephoto. The other was a Hanimex mirror! I had a T-mount but neither would achieve prime focus. Then I came across Bob Atkins's site on using Manual Focus lenses for Canon which had a link to this adapter. Fantastic. I can now use both lenses for astrophotography and get sharp moon pictures!!If only there were more of these made. I had a lot of trouble finding this one.
