I got this card at a great sale price - haven't seen it as low before or since. I wasn't sure I needed 4 GB of memory but I love it & it came in real handy when I was at CMA Fanfare in Nashville in June. It was great to have just 1 card & not worry about switching. Plus, it's fast! Even at regular price, it's a good deal for a great card!

I resently bought the Kingston 4 GB Flash Drive to take with me on a safari in South Africa. The quality of the photos is awesome! I was asked when I developed them if they were done by a professional - no just an enthusiastic traveler. For the price and quality, buy an extra. You never know when a lion, elephant, or beautiful sunset needs to be captured.

Seems like yesterday when I was impressed by the speed of a 40X Compact Flash card. Now we're at 300X, and there's no end in sight. Truth is, for 90% of my work, 45X (these cards) is more than sufficient by a wide margin. Reliable, fast enough, and a great warranty. What more could you ask for?

The 4GB 45 X Kingston flash drive is all it has been advertized to be and then some. Up to now I have been using 1 and 2GB flash drives. Nice to be able to shoot a lot of digitial photos in RAW without stopping to replce the flash drive every couple of minutes. When I am shooting I get so involved that I forget to check how may photos I have left and find myself replacing the flash drive just when I want to take a photo. This flash dirve has all but eliminated this operator proble.

I've compared this card in my Nikon D70 to a Sandisk Extreme III for multiple shots. The Sandisk EIII states a minimum 20MBs where the Kingston (this product) is 45X or 6.75MBs transfer rate. With the faster write time, I can shoot 60 pictures in 30 seconds (continuous shooting) on the EIII. The Kingston is good with continuous shots (the camera has an internal buffer afterall), but can only squeeze out 30 shots in 30 seconds. So, noticeable difference, but still an excellent value for the price I paid!

I bought this card as a backup, because I couldn't resist the low price [...]. I really didn't expect much and admit to being pleasantly surprised. I have had no problem with slow buffering using the card on my Canon EOS 5D, and the transfer time to my laptop is reasonably fast too! While the Kingston card's speed rating is lower than the other 4 GB cards I own, this wasn't a problem during general photograph and downloading from a USB 2.0 card reader. The card has performed realiably in the field and there have been no problems with the card in the downloading process. The card was purchased with a rebate and as such was an excellent value. Kingston is a reputable company in the computer memory space, so I have no reservations about buying from a fly-by-night off brand CF card. to date it has performed flawlessly for me, and since my camera has a fairly large buffer, and I rarely shoot 'rapid fire', the somewhat slow speed of this card has not been any hinderance for me. I bought one for my Dell Axim x51v pda for storage purposes but loved it so I bought a second for my Digital Rebel.
