Safariland Basic Yellow 40 Fluorescent Dye for Latent Prints, 25g

The Safariland Basic Yellow 40 Fluorescent Dye (25g) contains no harmful solvents, gives off no irritating fumes and is non-flammable. It can be used after cyanoacrylate fuming on surfaces such as cans, leather and plastics and fluoresces well between 365nm and 485nm. Basic Yellow 40 is also available as a powder for those of you who prefer to mix their own solution.

Mix approximately two grams in a liter of reagent alcohol. Mix Basic Yellow 40 with Rhodamine 6G and Ardrox to create the special solution known as "RAY." Additional Basic Yellow 40 formulations are available on the website.
