The Savage Complete Posing Kit arrives complete, you just need to put it together. The stool works and allows the client to sit, I can adjust for most anyone. The table alllows the client to lean and pose for headshots.

As an enthusiast trying to turn pro I purchased this set to start making portraits. These items are a perfect example of you get what you pay for. The metal used is very thin so it will not take long term abuse. One leg had even been cracked and repaired in manufacturing, prior to chrome plating. The threads for one of the feet were defective. I solved this by retapping and threading, however I think few people will have the tools available to do this. [...]..

The adjustment handle on the stool was improperly manufactured making it hard to adjust, also the foam insert in the stool seat area is uneven. Havent used the posing table yet but it seems to be a little better quality and did not slip like other reviewers stated, but from the quality of the stool that remains to be seen once I use it in the field. If I didn't throw the box away I would return it. Also in Adorama's catalog I think I saw this for [$], it's not worth [$] IMO, I will take the loss and pay it forward to someone who may need it. I will find another stool online.

Have not used the set as yet, the stool is sturdy, but the table is not and will modify it soon.

Surprised by all the complaints. Chair is better than I expected. Table is very nice. Only complaint is table piston a bit spongy and there are no set screws for the top. However it does not need to hold alot of wieght. Also the table top comes off easily so it is portable. Also bezel that covers leg welds needs to be glued on or left off. Would like to see higher quality lever on the table.

The Savage units were easy to assemble and work as described. The price was good. They make for much easier posing of models in the studio or at home. Not very portable though...nor are they intended to be. The are very durable and good quality. I recommend the set.

Why did you go from Photography to the Music Profession? I don't like the Posing Table because it spins around. It should lock in place.

The stool is fine, the table goes down with the slightest pressure which makes it hard for the subject to appear relaxed.

This kit is worth for its price. Do not expect too much. Table is very flimsy - goes down when you put your elbow on it or put very little body weight on it to pose - claimed to be normal as per Savage representatives. Not normal if you compare with Photogenic or other big name brand posing tables. I had to order parts twice with out spending any extra money to complete the set [...] It took me longer but I was able to completely build the set. Do not buy if expecting a lot from it. I do a lots of location work and it is OK if it breaks or I loose it, for the small price I paid for it. I will never buy this table again but stool is OK and sturdy.

Haven't used it too much yet, just getting started. However, it seems durable, light weight and was easy to assemble.

It was exactly what I wanted. An inexpensive, light-weight, easy to transport posing stool and table. I'm curious to see how long it will last with normal use.

I wasn't very satisfied with this product...Savage should stick to making seamless background paper....The Table is shakey, the stool doesn't support that much weight and the footrest is a waste, no matter how much you tighten it, it slides down to the bottom of the stool.....I would say it's better for children....not very strong for adults....

Good stool and table for location work. Lightweight but sturdy. Breaks down for easy transport.

I found that the stool is very difficult to lower once it has been raised. I also think that the posing table is not sturdy enough. It wobbles from side to side.

Esential gear for classic portraiture. I do alot of location work, and this combo breaks down quickly for easy transport. As an avid student of the Monte Zucker style, a posing table with stool(s) is a must have. I only wish they offered a table with two stools as a kit (you'll need two stools to do it right). The foot rest on the stool is a must as well. You can find cheaper stools, but they won't have the foot rest. The posing table could be a little sturdier, but it's not like I'm going to be putting anything heavy on it, just the occasional elbow and forearm. This combo really opens up the posing possibilities...

I have been using my table/stool combo for several months. You can't imagine the diffference in your portraits using the product. The model/subject is so much MORE comfortable, at ease, relaxed. I like to cover the table with a cloth to match the background. I'm purchasing a second stool for couples and groups!
