I've used this for a few wedding seasons. Without fail, the plate comes loose and twists. I'm using it with a CB Digital Pro bracket and a Nikon D3 along with the stroboframe quickrelease system. Constant frustration...

I would describe how I use this product, unfortunately, it does not work. The literature from Tiffen (Stroboframe) indicated this is the product to use with a gripped 40D. Good luck with that. The bracket only mounts in one direction, and when screwed to the Camera Flip, doesn't work as the grip doesn't clear the hinge on the Camera flip bracket. Nice. Another 0.25 or 0.375 of an inch and the grip clears. As it stands I spent more money on this lousy bracket. I should know better by now. BUY CHEAP - BUY TWICE. No more Tiffen. Next stop, a GOOD flash bracket, that actually works. I'll refrain from mentioning the quality manufacturers by name.

While the plate secures the Pro T bracket quite well, it also blocks access to the battery door when mounted to the xxD with battery pack. The plate attaches easily to the bracket, but is very difficult to align and screw into the camera. If this were a one-time operation, that would not be an issue, but since it blocks access to the battery compartment, it is a nuisance to say the least.

Exactly what the product name states, anti-twist. Bought this plate because my Pro-T bracket kept twisting even with the cork. Installed the anti-twist plate and no twisting. Highly recommended if you are getting a Pro-T bracket.
