DOROTHY A : Will this work with my Canon SX1-IS camera and my Canon 430EX speedlite?KITTY M : It should. You attach one end of the cord to the hot shoe on your camera and the other end to your 430. Then you attach the flash to the shoe on the bracket. The bottom arm of the bracket attaches to your camera where a tripod attaches. As long as you have that it will work.
Shopper : Will this bracket work with my canon 7D with Canon grip battery pack?ADAM A : yes it will I have one and it works great, this bracket is a little on the weak side tho but pretty solid for the price, best of luck.MARK D : Purchased this 2009 for my Canon Rebel - should work with the grip battery as there is room both laterally and up and down - will state replaced the bolt on the swivel with a bolt/rubber gasket to keep it a little more stable best

For the price, it was fine for my needs. It adds bulk to what you carry, but you can see that just looking at it. The swivel point does not lock so you may need to tighten the holding screw to get the flash angle to hold. That has been my only complaint which is little to notheing on a scale of 1 to 10. There are more expensive ones out there but this one did the job for me.SHAUN V : yes

Well made

Love this product...helps with great lighting with no shadows and red eye. It makes turning the flash between vertical and horizontal very quick and easy. A very sturdy and well made bracket.

Just what I wanted

I was looking for a nice lite bracket to use at a wedding, and I liked it so well, I bought it for the second camera too. Seems well built. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but will next month.

Very fragile

I loved it the first time I used it, but when I went to put it together the 2nd time the cord apparently is broken. Good idea bad performance.

Nice frame, cable is junk

cable separated from the housing at the flash end after 2nd use. This caused weird activity on the camera. I actually think it screwed up my FLASH card. I ended up with a memory error and a bunch of images went into the bit bucket.
