I can only assume those who say this is a bad product either (a) don't know how to use it, or (b) have a personal ax to grind. This flash bracket does what it should...provides a stable flash mount for both horizontal and vertical shots, with little hassle and excellent results. If you get shadows with this bracket, then you need to go back to Photography 101. It's well made, and easy to use. You need to use the anti-twist plate for your specific camera...if you do, you should love this bracket. I've shot many weddings and Mitzvahs the past year with it, and now can't shoot without it!

The flash bracket works very well. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the adjustment bolts have hex heads requiring the use of the supplied allan wrench; however, the bolt heads are somewhat soft and could easily become unusable.

Overall...a great product. Does what its suppose to do. I've used it for wedding photography for the last 1.5 years and is a great performer. Good balance...don't have to hold the handle like traditional flash brackets. Cool kick stand when you have the rig sitting on a table! Buy the anti twist plate and quick release...this adds money to the overall cost, but it cuts down on the frustration level and you'll have a great setup. This flash bracket without those 2 accessories will definitely cause you problems. Don't believe the other reviews about shadows...they need to brush up on their flash photography! Cons: The allen wrench screws are odd ball sizes and there are 3 different sizes wrenches you have to keep in your bag to tighten them up if they get loose? I've been too lazy to get some liquid tight but otherwise its a minor inconvenience.

When used with the proper anti-twist plates the Pro-t is about as reliable as they get AND at a affordable price.

Originally purchased for Nikon D70, Currently using with Canon EOS 20, TTL extension cable and Sigma flash. Using universal cork mount, which slips slightly. makes the Best setup for Wedding and party candids where people are your primary subjects. Great results and catch lights with the height of the pro-T. Quick-flip goes from Horiz. to Vert orientation in 1 second. Small features of extendable front stand and cable guide are nice. Camera + Flash + bracket are a bit heavy when using for an all-day shoot. Get a custom camera mount and flash mount if possible for the best performance.

Great product, reasonable price. When I'm using the portrait grip for my camera, this frame is the only one that I like using. You are able to hold the camera, not the frame.

The bracket supposedly does away with shadows, not in my case. It cost me several hours cleaning up shadows in Photoshop. Costly purchase and unusable for me. I tried every possible combination to make it work. Not a good purchase

When I attemped to mount my camera, either the camera or the bracket would move no matter how hard I tightened the screw. It was very frustrating.

Stroboframe's lightest, fastest professional brackets. The Pro-T is a flash-rotating bracket. Light, compact and fast-handling with a swinging flash arm to keep the flash centered over the lens for both horizontal and vertical compositions. This bracket does not require the use of a cable release. Unlike conventional brackets, the PRO-T is designed for you to hold the camera rather than the bracket, for a more natural way of shooting. Also allows you to instantly switch between horizontal and vertical compositions.
