This thing is great! It's cheap in price, but not in quality. There's not much one can say about such a simple product, but it does exactly what it's supposed to without issue. It diffuses light very well and doesn't fall off. Not much else matters. I keep mine on my SB-600 all the time unless I need to use a different light modifier.

I use the diffuser for bounce flash shots of dogs and cats for a Humane Society website. The eyes show up bright and clear with nice catchlights. I leave the diffuser attached to my SB-600 when I pack it in the bag and it never gets loose or comes off. What's not to like about it?

This is more or less a permanent fixture on my sb-600. It does what it's supposed to for not a lot of money.

I have been using this diffuser steadily since purchasing it. I am an "event" photographer for my church, and the change in the light from harsh to soft has brought many positive comments about my photographs. It's amazing how an inexpensive item such as this can make such a positive difference.

I use the diffuser for almost all shots where I am close enough to have sufficient lighting for the specific circumstances. For even lighting, minimizing shadows, the combination of the diffuser and bounce lighting work extremely well. The diffuser fits the Nikon SB600 very well and is easy to put on and to remove while it remains in place during use. The only down side is that when you are not using it, you have to store it.

It slips off. Whatever the "plastic" material is, doesn't grip to the flash, so the diffuser slips and could easily fall off.

bought this to go on my nikon sb600. Tried it on my dads olympus fl36 as is should fit. Does work but feel like it might come off if handled incorrectly(the sb600 fit was secure). Had a great time taking pix with accessory flash and got better and more natural results than ever. I always had shied away from flash photography because of the unnatural look of the light, and had to doctor most pix on Photoshop. This diffuser worked great and was truly a great buy for such a low cost. You shouldn't be without one!
