Same quality as the meter it's built for
This is a fun little attachment that fits on the top of Polaris's meter. It "stows" next to the incident dome when not in use. It still sticks out from the unit, but there's really not a better way to do it. The spotview clips on securely with a little spring clip and then you get a dashed circle with a center point to aim in the middle. I do a few readings and average them. This does not do any sort of HUD in the viewfinder to show you real time readings. You just spot in on the subject, push the button on the meter to take a reading and then flip the meter over to read it. Pretty simple!
