The 4500-II has a slightly lower-wattage lamp (200W vs. 250W), shorter chassis and column, and a smaller baseboard than the 4550XLG. All of the other features and construction are identical; that's a lot of bang for your enlarger buck! Whether you are looking to equip a school darkroom or are considering a move up from medium format, this world-class enlarger is the way to go. Filtration modules and all other accessories are completely interchangeable with 4550XLG.
