It does the job

I added this as a second drive to hold video files. It makes a bit of start-up noise and it is not super fast, but so far - 3 weeks - it is doing the job. It does not come with mounting screws or any cables, just the drive. This is not a sports car, it is an 18 wheeler that will hold a lot of data. If you need a lot of storage it and trust in the Seagate brand, this drive provides a lot of bang for the buck.

This drive works like all the other Seagate drives that I've bought from other retailers. Good shipping packaging. Formatted just fine. Was copying gigabytes of video clips in just a few mins after unpacking it from the shipping box.

Works good, easy to install.

My only complaint is my PC wouldn't recognize it. I had to go online to see problems others had, and learned I had to format the unit. Wish Seagate would have have included basic instructions for formatting.
