I bought 2 G2 Surefire flashlights, one for each vehicle. I bought the 2 P61s for the additional light. When comparing the stock bulb in one flashlight against one with the P61 in a dark room, there was little if any visible difference. In addition the P61 eats up your batteries 2X faster.
