Professional headphones (w/o the $$ tag)

By

from Bronx, NY  -  Experienced

I bought these headphones because I wanted a high quality monitor that could isolate the noise and chatter of my surrounding (especially when I'm shooting concerts or wedding receptions). I also wanted to get double for my money as I needed something just as good to monitor my audio while editing. If you are doing anything similar (videographer, field Audio) the you can't go wrong with these. These are especially good when you are monitor audio from various sources in an environment less than perfect for such (street fairs, park, etc.) The only thing I wish Shure did was to add a little pocket inside the pouch where headphones are stored. In that way, the supplied 1/4" adapter wouldn't keep falling out. Other than that; not much Cons. I must admit, of all the headphones I've owned, these are becoming my favorite.

Kathy And Steve D  Thanks, my intent is to use them with a laptop. Just wondering if the sound quality would improve if I also bought a DAC/amp.
