Great product

small compact and light weight going to use it on our next vacation - also good for a walking stick for us old folks.

Light and Compact.

from Philadelphia, PA  -  Photo Enthusiast

This very light and compact monopod has everything I look for in a monopod. My first priority, when hiking or at a sporting event, is to keep the amount of equipment I am carrying to a minimum. This monopod fits nicely in my small camera bag's monopod compartment and is so light you never have to leave it home to keep your equipment load to a minimum. The quality seems excellent and I expect many years of service. On a recent tript to Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix, the monopod was more than adequate.

Great double duty as a hiking pole

from Strasburg Virginia  -  Photo Enthusiast

Purchased this monopod for a trip to Peru with a mirrorless camera and lenses. The camera died prior to Macchu Picchu, but someone loaned a point and shoot with extreme zoom for the day. On top of the monopod it provided a great hiking pole with easy access to the camera. The rubber tip allowed it's use on the site at Macchu Picchu, tripods are not allowed generally. I got envious looks and comments from other travelers who were trying to jockey cameras and hiking poles. Folds down to a small size that slips into the water bottle holder of my backpack, and has a carabiner to attach to the backpack for extra stability. Light, small, sturdy, what more could you want? I did not use a head but will for any other camera. I did not find it difficult to set up.

Excellent Monopod

from SE Louisiana  -  Photo Enthusiast

I use my SIRUI P-326 with my Gimbal head attached for my Sigma 150-500mm and D5100 while out in my boat, much lighter and more compact and quicker than tri-pod, very quick to set-up while sitting or standing. Great for grandsons baseball games no need to fumble around with tri-pod, just set-up camera on SIRUI P-326, and shoot away. Getting much sharper photos. Very sturdy, light weight, and easy to lock sections. Very happy! Oh! and the spike on the end works great, very strong don't have to worry about wearing out the rubber end when outdoors, even the compass is almost accurate. I do have one complaint, the strap is made cheap, mine is un-sewing, but will sew with nylon thread. other than that I have no other complaint.

Awesome, small, lightweight monopod

from Glendale, AZ  -  Pro Photographer

I'm doing more traveling and was in need of a smaller monopod. My to Manfrottos are so big that they necessitate the need for a larger suitecase than I really need. So I went looking... Imagine my delight when I find this 6 section pod for $100! It's just as tall as my others but compacts down so much smaller. The lighter weight is an added bonus. Used it the last two weekends at Ironman races and it works flawlessly. Definitely recommend this monopod!

Perfect Combination of Size and Weight

from San Jose, CA  -  Photo Enthusiast

This 6-section monopod is perfect for travel or hiking since it's very compact when collapsed and extremely lightweight. It is also well constructed so you're not sacrificing quality for its compact size and weight. The retractable foot spike is also a nicely added feature. Twist locks aren't the fastest to open and close but this is very minor item for this excellent monopod.

Sirui P-326 carbon monopod

from Delmar, N.Y.  -  Semi-pro Photographer

I rationalized the purchase of this product because my physical therapist suggested that a cane might be useful to assist in my walking, and by mounting an aluminum ball head I could use it as a camera support, which would fit in my travel bag. It fits the bill admirably in all of these requirements. It is extremely sturdy and lightweight.

Compact & Lightweight

from Spokane,Wa  -  Photo Enthusiast

I've taken this out to a neighboring pond using my 60d and 200mm 2.8 L w/1.4 tc. Shooting a great blue heron I ended up sitting on a rock with the monopod only slightly extended to brace against my lap. I had many more keepers than I had throwaways-and I pretty much shoot continuous bursts to capture the quickly changing poses of skittish wild animals. I paired it with a tilt monopod head. Although I found setup a little time consuming ( getting it adjusted to the correct height) that's probably more due to my arthritis and inexperience using a monopod. It seems quite solid and stable.
