I can't believe how nice this bag is for $15, lots of padding. Got it for my Manfrotto 055XPro3 tripod with a MHXPRO-BHQ6 ballhead. It fits great, just need to turn the ballhead down to fit.

This is a great cheap bag. It's NOT perfect by any means. The inside zipper has a bunch of thread that sometimes sticks into itself. But in general it's fantastic for the price. It has good padding and the outer material looks like it should take at least a fair amount of beating.

This would have been exactly what I wanted except I measured wrong & my tripod (with head) won't fit in the 28" size. The material seems strong, zipper O.K., has an external pocket & shoulder strap included as well as carry handles.

Great bag for light stands or tripod. I have three light stands In it currently. Could probably fit one or two more. Has an inside and outside zippered pocket though they dont have a lot of depth. Probably more for cable ties. The build quality seems pretty nice. Lots of padding and the straps feel like they will hold up to some weight.

The bag itself is very nice and well padded but there is a D ring sewn onto the body of the bag to hold the strap that. is made of some very weak suede-like material. The suede ripped at the joint where it is sewn to the body and now the main strap can no longer be used. This is only after 6 months ownership where the bag has only been lightly used a few times. NOT happy.

Strong, well designed, protective and stylish. I use this to transport my Cartoni tripod and I am very surprised to find the quality this bag provides for the price. The straps are strong and the handle is comfortable. Not only would I recommend it, but I already ordered another one in a different size for my slider and lightstands!

This is an early five stars, since I haven’t had it out of the house yet, but the bag feels really sturdy and nice, especially considering the low price. The double zipper seems strong, and looks like it’s water resistant. I’m really impressed and looking forward to using it.

I’m rather particular with my bags for the most part. I usually want to maintain a somewhat a level of discreetness while still having a look of professionalism when going out to sites. I started out looking at Manfrotto bags. However, the bags intended for lightstands didn’t have any padding, according to reviews. After some searching on amazon, other sites and here, I finally found the slinger bag. It seemed decently priced and reviewed fairly well so I decided to try it out. The bag itself is made of what seems like a canvas material on the outside and seems pretty durable. However it may or may not fray up over time if it happens to be dragged across rough surfaces or if it snags on something. There is an external pocket on the outside for heads or other hardware. Also included is a shoulder strap with a sliding pad. It feels a bit on the cheap side, but the clip hardware looks pretty sturdy. Not sure which would go first. And of course there are carry handles as well. On the inside looks like some kind of cordura/nylon material in bright orange, which I love. It allows you to locate small items more easily. In most other bags, the interior would be all black, making things impossible to find in the dark. They also include a small pocket inside for additional storage if needed. Space wise, I can fit two 12ft stands with umbrellas (4 of them) and possibly a smaller tripod as well. Overall, the bag was much nicer than I expected and I think it’ll last me a good amount of time.

Basic bag that carries 4 of my light stands, unfortunately, the rivet that attaches the shoulder strap broke on day one, and I only had 2 stands in there.

I enjoy the look and functionality of this bag. I used it lightly for 2-3 months before the strap ripped free from the bag. It was only holding my tripod, not a heavy load, and I merely picked it up to carry it out the door. It seems as though many modern products are made to break so we have to keep buying more. In the future, I'll look to pay a little more and buy a well-made product.

Picked it up to replace the SLIK bag which came with my tripod due to the zipper breaking. Love the materials and size. Nicely padded and looks much better than your typical tripod bag. Has plenty of room for a tripod and can fit a few small light stands too if needed. Big improvement over the bag which it replaces.

Bottom line, this bag is pretty good. The straps are not. After less than 4 months of light use, the suede tab connecting the shoulder strap tore (something a few other reviewers mentioned). For the price I paid, I wasn't expecting perfection, so I'm giving it 3 stars - it's an average bag. In my case I was only carrying light stands and clamps in it, so there's very little chance for damage. If you want to put something important / vulnerable / fragile in this bag, I would reconsider.

I likethe feel of this bag. When I took it out of the wrapping after purchasing it felt like it could last me a very long time. I like that it has a shoulder strap and hand strap. Theres 2 pockets as well. 1 on the inside and 1 on the outside. My shoulder strap did break after about a week of use though. I had 4 light strands, a reflector holder and a 3 lb counterweight.

I have the smaller version and I though it was great. I used it to protect my tripod while in transit. It has great padding and a the exterior is very durable. I can't comment on the strap because I never used it. IMO, a strap is a strap, although I guess it would be nice if the strap was padded. Anyway, I thought it was great until I noticed that one of the zippers came off the track and can't be put back on. No big deal because I can use the other zipper (there are two), but then I noticed that the zipper track has separated from the case and it can't be fixed. So it is going in the trash. I will say that it gave me 3 good years of service, and for the price I guess it's okay. I replaced it with a Manfrotto case.

I am impressed with initial quality - really solid choice at this price point. Seemingly solid zippers, construction, and stitching - and cool orange nylon interior. Have used it half a dozen times (for my 10' Gitzo tripod plus extension and head) since purchase with zero issues; only time will tell how well it stands up to frequent pro use.

I was looking for a compact bag that would carry a minimal flash outfit: small softbox umbrella, two stands, adapter, even one of my flashes. This does the trick. The material is sturdy and a nice change from the usual black.

The Slinger T2 easily fit my Manfrotto 55 Tripod with MVH502AH fluid head along with a small light stand. It provides more than adequate protection but I am very disappointed with the shoulder strap. The top and bottom fabric loops holding the shoulder strap ring connections ripped apart within the first 3 days of use. I found two small fabric loops at each end of the zipper run and was able to reattach the rings to those using plastic ties. This fix seems more secure than the original design but I have little confidence that it will hold up over the long run. Flimsy shoulder strap connections on an otherwise fairly priced and adequately constructed product make this a risky purchase.

I had to get a replacement for this bag as the suede tabs that hold the shoulder strap d-rings tore almost immediately after I got it. They sent me another one and that one has been fine, so it was just a fluke that the piece of suede tore. This bag is well padded and compact. It does the job for a good price.

…… it's a simple black, fabric, side opening, zipper closing, bag. Somewhat larger than what I need for my Adorama Carbon Fiber Tripod (with a 3-pod, 4H head attached). Possibly large enough for two of them. It does have a zipper closing, internal pocket which is good for quick attach plates, hex wrenches, spare screws, & things like that.

The bag is well made for the price and a bit longer than I had expected which may be a good thing for lightposts and umbreles but I do not know what size these things are . I will add that i could fit another tripod in this bag but they would of course rub together. The inside is like a moisture resistant lining similar to something you might find in a flexible cooler and tough. The padding, for me, is more than adequate and the outside is tough and reminds me of gortex. The clips that hold the bag for shoulder carry are actual metal (not a high grade) which I was suprized to see...nicely made. Yes I would recommend this to anyone and wish I could address umbrellas and light-stands but, thinking you will be pleased.

It fits the tripod perfectly and is easy and light weight yet sturdy. I use it on all my photo shoots and stores away easily. I would buy this again! Just used it again today and love that it holds up so well.
