About SLR Magic 50mm F/0.95 Mirrorless

The SLR Magic 50mm f/0.95 HyperPrime lens is one of the World's fastest production lenses available today. At open aperture, the lens renders images and video with extreme shallow depth of field for a dreamy and unique character. In low-light photography and cinematography, the lens exceeds the perception of the human eye. From night scenes to poorly lit indoor photography you can shoot in situations that are often impossible to capture with a normal lens.

Manual focus only lens constructed of metal to the highest standards. The impressive workmanship is well suited for professional use. Designed not just for the photographer but the cinematographer it offers smooth, quiet, stepless control of the f-stop allowing soft transitions of luminance.

A portrait lens with a 50mm focal length (35mm format equivalency; 75mm for Sony E mount, 100mm for MFT mount and 90mm for Fujifilm X mount) and a dreamy, beautiful bokeh due to the inclusion of 8 aperture blades. A truly great lens for any occasion, but particularily suited to normally difficult-to-shoot conditions.

Questions about this item:

JEFFREY T  will this work with nikon camera mount ?
GUSTAV W  I don't believe so unless you get an adapter. This is M4/3 lens (we use this for our panasonic DSLRs and Blackmagic cameras) and unfortunately for you, all the adapters I have seen are for M4/3 cameras to Nikon glass and not the other way. If you do find an adapter I highly recommend this glass. I have owned it for a year and it still impresses me every use.
ANDREJS K  when wide open, its glowy on contrast lighting situation, its normal for this lens?
HARRY B  It sounds like you might be describing lens "flare", which is common with fast lenses with big objectives - if you are not using a lens hood, try one and avoid shooting with strong light source in or closely outside the frame.
Omer S  Will the lens be 100mm on a Panasonic GH-3 (x2 crop factor) or is the 50mm considering the crop factor of the sensor?
ANDREJS K  its 50.mm
