Tripods are a necessary addition to a photog's equipment list. This one is quite acceptable for the occasional times that you must use one.

It was very quick to get this product going and is very nice. It pans almost 360 around, that was a nice feature. The cost is just what I like.

No need to spend $200 on a carbon fiber tripod.

I am so surprised at how lightweight this tripod is and still be very sturdy, even at full length. My other pro tripod from years ago is so heavy and I am getting older that I just quit carrying it around! And the quick release is such a welcome feature that it make me use the tripod even more. Now, if I can just get it inside my camera bag! Last week I used it at our church function when we were celebrating with fireworks and it handled perfectly.

The SDV-30 tripod is the economical choice for a light-weight travel tripod. It is compact, lightweight and economical, with a geared center column that can be adjusted with the crank handle. The 3-way pan & tilt head can be used with a compact SLR, Digital camera or DV camcorder, and includes a quick-release system.
