WILLIAM F : Are these mounts thin enough to fit into the slide carriers that come with the Epson flatbed scanners? ie the V700?KATHLEEN M : Sorry, I can't answer about the Epson. I have an old Kodak carousel, and they fit fine in that.LYNDON M : I use an Epson V500 scanner and these mounts are thin enough to fit inside the slide carrier with plenty of clearance. No issues.JOHN M : I have used many of these to scan negatives. They are slightly thicker than a standard cardboard slide. I use the Epson V-500.MARY W : Yes. I have the Epson V600 - they fit perfectly.WILLIAM S : I'm not familiar with the Epson V700 scanner . . . But the mounts do work just fine in long familiar slide trays used with older 35 mm slide projectors.JOEL S : Yes, I have an Epsom 750Pro works fine. These mounts are fantastic. Hope this helps. JoelMICHELE N : I have not tried them in any scanners or in a slide machine. I bought them so that I could clean the slides I found in my family's basement that were covered with mold and mildew. I had one thing I didn't like. They are not hinged so you basically have to push the slide into the holder. Once I got the hang of it tho it was relatively easy. Saved 135 slides.

The best choice of mounting slides

I'm scanning all my film negatives - I've found that the results are better if I cut the negatives and mount them like slides. I've used both the Hama 1050 DSR plastic slide mounts and the typical 2 piece snap plastic mount. The Hama mounts are far easier and faster to use. I have an Epson V600 scanner; the mounts fit perfectly into the slide holder.

Hama 1050 DSR 2x2 35mm Plastic Slide

These slide mount are a great replacement for my slides that the mounts either opened up or were bent. All you do is slide your 35mm unmounted slide film into. Easy as that!! Worth the money, I highly recommend this item. JMS

Replacement for cardboard slide mounts

I'm using these to replace original cardboard mounts for old color 35 mm slides. Due to aging, the old mounts frequently don't work well with my projector.
