Another one of my many great Sog knives, really like the power pliers multitool. Also love my assisted opening Sog knives.

Good solid knife, sharp out of the box. I like the sheath, was expecting a belt clip on the sheath, came with a velcro belt loop. I saw online a replacement could be ordered, but when I called to order, I was told ot would be at least a couple of months.

The knife is great. I couldn't ask for something better. It was given to me as a gift some years ago. The only complaint I have is the material the snap strap is made of. It frays and it gets continuously worse. I keep my knives sharp and this one has put many slices in the strap when removing it and inserting it. I think they need to try another material for the strap. Something that will stay open and not fall across the path of the knife.

I purchased my SOG bowie in 1990. Just before my first deployment with the Marines. Wiser heads recommended I replace the issue K-bar with something better. I picked this up at the PX. 30 years later it remains my camping/hiking knife. Knife is in great shape, but finally the sheath wore out. I contacted SOG wanting to buy a new one, and they insisted on sending me one for free. Great company. Great knife.

Same blade as Sarah Connor in Terminator?. It's a good entry level knife.

I absolutely love the feel and balance of this excellent knife! It came very sharp. I love the thickness of it and the non-slip grip of the textured handle. It feels so natural and easy to wield on my hand. Thanks for such an awesome knife!

Purchased in 2016 as an upgrade in a field knife. Prefer this finish for hiding stains which my stainless folders were prone to getting. Also my work required a knife with bit more mass than a folder. Use this knife to prepare stems for stripping bark for fibers to make heavy cord. The stock Kydex sheath is more than secure even with snap tab folded back out of way (don't use it). Have no complaint with velcro closure for belt. Notice that in my usage there is no dragging of honed edge along nut and bolt that fastens sheath to belt hanger, although I typically field lap the edge as needed. Design of this Bowie allows sufficient variety hand holds for large material removal down to finer control. Rubber handle is positive for grip without much fatigue, and the leather washers are a nice accent.

The knife is good and a for effort on the kydex holster but the retention is almost too much like it jerks free wich for me is kind of dangerous

I've had this close to 10 years...and I have used it for everything. I have never had any problems out of it. Best knife I have ever used by far! It could use a better sheath though.

I had been wanting this knife for years and finally purchased it, but when I got it and put it in the Kydex sheath, and repeatedly pulling it in and out of the sheath I noticed the sheath was making the blade dull, so I have to keep resharpening the blade before I use. Disappointed in sheath design.

Not happy with the lack of quality in this purchase, velcro belt loop? Really. I bought it beause pic online showed malic clip type belt holder, velcro is no good. Junk. Noisy. Comes undone. And why did u cheap out on the case button? Plastic? And cheap pop rivets. , I am including pics of my trident. That has the malic type belt holder. , I would not have purchased, if I knew it was a velcro case, very disappointed, I am switching knife brands to cold steel, and you say in your adds designed for spec ops? Really? Velcro is noisy. Junk

Awesome blade. Sheath has weak points on bolts that torqued off on one side.

I have had this knife for a few years now and it has outperformed my other knives(Kabar, Benchmade, CRKT, Kershaw) in its ability to hold an edge, ability to take heavy use such as chopping, and ease in returning the blade to its original out of the box shave your face sharpness. A beast- pricey- but you get what you are paying for

• Based on the classic SOG Bowie that founded our company, but morphed into a top-notch work knife with the use of technology, modern materials, and a little class thrown in for good measure. • For starters all the metal parts are satin finished stainless steel and coated in SOG's proprietary Hardcased TiNi deep black coating. It looks incredible! Offset against this, the tactile Kraton rubber handle nods to tradition with the use of interspaced white washers. This has never been accomplished before and provides an unmistakable SOG look. The thick (.240) AUS 8 blade is topped off with a faceted tip that is a SOG signature and completes the total package.
