Sony HVR-MRC1K Memory Recording Unit

I have had 3 HDV cameras for a number of years but only had 2 of these recording units until summer, 2013. (I got tired of transfering footage from tape on the 3rd camera). This product is simple to use, although you should read the manual to make sure you have it set up properly. I bought this 3rd unit used due to high cost of new unit. Adorama had it at great price (as good as ebay but with warranty) and shipped it to me right away. Since it is HDV codec I did not want to pay full price for new unit. Now I can do 3 camera shoot, all on CF cards, cameras now all match with same codec, easy editing and/or transferring to client.

This unit works perfectly with my Sony FX1000. Auto scene detected, MP2 files like AVCHD Files. Shipped to Canada for 7 days by Fedex. Happy with product and Adorama too, Thanks!!!

With usb2.0, I have faster file transfer than real capture.With 32 GB CF card, I have more space to record. (147mins).Product is just made for my camera (Sony HVR Z5), no need to extra i-link cable or battery.[...]
