Shopper : does it include ac adapter or need to buy separately ?JACK W : Yes, A/C adaptor is included. A very good product.DENNIS N : It included the A/C adapter. (Unfortunately it is not built into the unit - I just prefer not to need external A/C adapters, because of the space they take up, and they can fall out of an older outlet that is not quite so snug anymore.) In all other respects, I am very pleased with the Projection, Sounds, FM radio reception and speaker clarity! and the temperature display is a bonus!TIMOTHY W : It should include an adapter.TIMOTHY W : It should include an adapter.ED A : The AC adapter was included. This is a great radio with only two problems, neither of which are deal killers. The display is too bright (but not a problem because it can be turned off and the projection gives you the time at night) and the sound is tinney. If you want great sound this is not the right product for you. Shopper : Czn you fall asleep to the radio and then be awakened to a preset tme. ??GREGORY B : Not sure if this exactly answers the question the way you asked it. But yes you can fall asleep to the nature sounds and then be woken up at a preset time with the radio. And you also can set the radio volume to be louder than the nature sounds you fell asleep to.ED A : I haven't actually did this but, yes, I am confident it would allow you to use the sleep timer and at the same time have one of the two alarms set. Some more information on the radio: It works very well in every way that is important to me. The two alarms are easy to set and the time projector on the ceiling works well. It will retain the time through a short blackout. Now the bad stuff: The sound is "tinney" due the small speaker (can't expect much from such a small unit so don't expect concert hall sound while falling asleep), and, for some reason, clock designers don't seem to be able to get the night illumination adjustment right. This one is way too bright even on the lowest setting. I don't need to have the backlight turned on at all at night since I use the projector so I just turn the backlight off. The LCD display can still be seen during the day.JACK W : I think you can if you set the radio to auto shut off (1 hour, etc). This is a functional, great looking product from Sony.

I ordered the clock radio after reading the very positive comments, My experience was not as I had hoped. I have a "atomic clock" and have really enjoyed it but after 10 years needed to replace it. The Sony Dread Machine was not the answer.

Finally found what I was looking for

Wanted a dual alarm clock with a projection but could never find a good one. The Sony is small, works very well, does a lot of things and fits anywhere. Overall and for the price, very nice and perfect for my needs.

Finally, I can see the time.

I love being able to see the time on my ceiling. No more twisting and craining my neck to see the time.

Everyone Loves This Clock!

My kids and I LOVE this projection clock. I was pet sitting at a friends and they had a projection clock and we fell in love with it. I bought this one for my self and I really like mine better. It has a much larger display and and a much larger projection. The projection also has a back lit circle around it. The nature sounds and the ability to set two different alarms are a bonus.

Best alrm clock ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything is awesome about this clock. The projection is the best Ive seen as i owned two other before this one, the clarity is the best and you can put it anywhere any angle. the nature sounds sounds are rich and clean and the back light is perfect for night time. I would recommend you buy this!!!
