HAd this camera since Septmember last year. it has preformed better then expected. First video prodeced was a great success, in fact feed back on the DVD came back as thought it was better then professional hired by the city. This happened less than a week after openong the box, infact the wife filmed the event since I was in it.

Love the Sony NEX-VG10

Only been in my hands for two weeks and so far have no complaints. Can not give it 5 for that reason. Right out of the box on auto settings just great easy to use. So far playing with other settings has been fun,and a learning experience. Time will tell on how great this camcorder can be.

New user of Sony NEX VG 10

The more you use this camera the more you fall in love with it! When I first got it I thought it was a HUGE mistake and I should return it, but over the next few weeks I changed my mind. The pictures that you get are equal or better then cameras costing 10 times its cost and the sound with the add-on mikes really comes alive. These cameras are small and light and this makes it very easy to use on a low cost tripod. Almost every function is manual that at first glance makes you think that it won't work but then it comes alive. It is so easy to zoom that you never think of even having a motorized zoom and since it is small and light you can move it around to get the picture you really want. The picture is as close as you can get to real film for any price and the dept of field is simply amazing when compared to 3cmos cameras. If you shoot fast action it is a great camera!
