Works very well!
Needed a wide angle lens for my Sony HD camcorder, to shoot videos of my live band performances in small clubs and bars. This Sony lens works perfect, and allows us to get the whole band in the video in small, constrained venues. Also very good for wide angle shooting outdoors. No loss of video clarity and images are not distorted. For a genuine Sony product, the price is very economical.

Works very well!
Ordered this lens in the hope of getting better wide angle videos of my band using my Sony HD camcorder. It worked better than anticipated, allowing us to get all 5 of our band members in the same videos when playing in small clubs and bars. Have not noticed any degradation of picture quality. It's light weight, and doesn't affect the balance of the camera. The only downside is make sure your camera bag is large enough to hold the camera with this lens installed. I highly recommend getting this lens, especially with the economic price it sells for being genuine Sony product.
