Description
The WRR-862B is a two-channel (simultaneous), UHF-synthesized Dual Diversity Tuner. This affordable diversity tuner has been introduced to meet the demand for two-channel reception in ENG and EFP applications. Two space-diversity receiver modules are built in to its rugged, compact and extremely lightweight body that is made from die-cast magnesium.
This makes the WRR-862B especially suitable for mounting onto Sony professional camcorders with the supplied attachment kit/case, as well as a variety of other portable applications, including use as a redundant single channel system for "critical applications".
The WRR-862B is available on channels 14/16 (14-17), 30/32 (30-33), 62/64 (62-65) and 66/68 (66-69).
Two independent PLL synthesized diversity tuners in one compact unit. Includes built-in antenna divider. Each tuner offers 188 tunable frequencies across a 24MHz range Designed to easily mount on most Sony professional camcorders.
Includes LED A/B antenna status, battery status and AF & RF indication. LCD includes: Group, channel, frequency, squelch level, battery alarm and back-light mode. Approx. 5 hours of continuous operation (w 4 "AA" alkaline batteries). Can power from internal batteries of receive DC power directly from Sony camcorder. (with supplied cable)
Selectable between OFF, 5dBu, 10dBu & 15dBu Integrated 1/8" stereo mini-jack headphone output with variable level control, allows selection of tuner 1 only, 1 + 2 (mixed) or tuner 2 only. Provides extra dutabliity for use in extreme environments Supplied mounting hardware works with standard Sony camcorder mounting bracket (A-8278-057-A).
