Poor video upscaling - Try SONY instead (or use extra hardware)
CONS:
Doesn't do such a good job of adequately upscaling app streams (Netflix, Hulu, AmazonVideo, etc.) to 4K. This leads to garbled graphics, a slight blur, and greyed out dark areas.
You might want to consider a SONY XBR set. Sony is better known for graphics processing and internal upscaling.
PROS:
If you are attaching an independent source with upscaling (like a good receiver or AppleTV), then the picture on this UN55KS9000 is superb.
The graphical interface of the tv is also excellent. Super responsive and pleasing to look at.
Recommendation really depends on how you intend to use it. If you are a cable-cutter like me, then look for a TV with better upscaling.
If you route everything via a receiver/bluray with good upscaling, then I'm sure it will satisfy.
