It has 2 ram slots to put memory. The 13 inch model is soldered into the motherboard, but this one allows you to expand it. In my case I have the laptop with 16gb (2x8 corsair 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333, Model CMSO16GX3M2A1333C9). Hope it helps.JEFF W : Yes. Wireless connection issues

It's a beautiful lightweight laptop, but it would drop a wi-fi connection every 10 minutes.

Samsung Series 9

Beautiful, sleek design. This laptop is basically a Windows MacBook Air. I have both the 13.3 and 15. The only issue is well, Windows 8. These machines are fully compatible with Windows 7 though - you just need a license/legal copy. Battery life is awesome, screen is BEAUTIFUL. Matte screen bright enough even to use outside. Lightweight. Micro HDMI for external monitor/TV hookup. Boots in under 15 seconds. Fans almost never run.
