Just like white noise, and frequency is changing. Very disturbing. I tried to unplug the display/hdmi cable, power cord. Next step I will try to give it some audio input and see can it be better. Quality issue, not good.

Excellent set of monitors. Found a great deal on BF for 200 a piece. Replaced my dual monitors for the same, Little that I knew it would need an upgrade of my video card. Nevertheless, one monitor is on 4K other is on regular. Eventually, will get an upgrade of of the graphics card and will able to enjoy the monitors at fullest! . I saw some mouse lag on the new setup..Make sure you update your drivers.m I did mine and now it is buttery smooth!

It's a great monitor to view high detail images with it's 4k resolution. You have to use Windows scaling at least at 200% to make the fonts readable, but after that if perfectly fine.

I'n not an expert nor a gamer but with this UHD monitor I do notice a great improvement in font clarity. Very crisp fonts. Bright screen, had to dim it a bit.

Cannot use HD resolution with Windows 10. The font becomes very small and renders completely useless. Samsung gives too many options to set it. It is very difficult to get the right settings. I have had great experience with Dell UltraSharp monitors. They are excellent compared to this monitor. I do NOT recommend this monitor to anyone!

Resolution is great, working well with the latest Linux Mint in hi-dpi mode. Colors are not perfect compared to MacBook retina, but still better and easier for eyes than my previous 144hz monitor.

I purchased this monitor on black friday for about 200 dollars, and it great! I only wished that they would have supported display port 1.4 instead of 1.2. I also didn't know that the monitor was a freesync one. I wish they had stated it before. The sound card on the monitor is also pretty good, so playing consoles that don't have an external audio jack, I'm looking at you nintendo, out of it a-okay.

IPS display with high resolution. Million times better than the 21" TN display that it replaced. I have to increase the default Windows font size to have a readable File>Select windows triggered from the Browser. The text and image are crisp. The backlit could be better, but probably will cost more. Overall, a good size monitor with meaningful resolution in an affordable price.

I bought this monitor on a great deal for Black Friday but it wasn't my first pick. Needless to say my opinion changed when I booted it up. Scaling is definitely necessary to use it and that might introduce weirdness with some apps and the like but 4K, even in this smaller size is absolutely worth it. The pixel density is immense, with text being remarkably crisp to view. Pictures stun in the detail they display and 4K video is an eye-popping visual marvel. Last but certainly not least, games have never looked better albeit obviously tough to run at 4K. Even with a 1070, expect to lower some settings to run at a comfortable frame rate. For instance, HITMAN runs around 40-45 with high settings on an overclocked 2500k. But having 4K is also about having options. 1440p is perfectly viable for 60 fps for most games on a setup like mine and still looks a great deal better than say 1080p. If you really wanna get crazy, use NVIDIA DSR if you have a GTX and push it up to 8K but expect a slideshow unless you have Titan XPs in SLI. I'm lucky in the fact that this monitor arrived with no issues whatsoever. No dead pixels, bleed or glow from what I can tell. Samsung's IPS panel or PLS can suffer from the same issues as an IPS but I'm very pleasantly happy to say there has been no issue. Viewing angles are great and the color/contrast/gamma is perfectly serviceable out of the box. I'm sure that some calibration is in order but I myself have no complaints at factory settings. Believe me, I was skeptical about a 24 inch 4K screen with countless people saying it's useless in this range. It's not, absolutely not. I was using 1080p up to this point but 4K is a whole new experience regardless of size. If you are looking for one of the most affordable but high quality 4K IPS display from a renowned brand and have the means to power it, do not hesitate.

Problem I see people having with any monitor is that they don't read the specs and know what they are getting into. Even I didn't know half of what I needed until I want to a local store and checked them out myself. While I basically don't game anymore I did try WoW on these with a 2gb 950 factory overclock. I was able to do a 4k30fps Utube on one screen while 4k maxed WoW minus AA on the other and was so happy with everything I saw. I'm a network administrator and being able to tile the windows when scaling between 100-175% is so much better for the work I do. That said, yes you have to have perfect eye sight and viewing conditions to read on this monitor when scaling is below 150/175%. I have 20/20 (for now) and have to strain at lower scaling. But having the ability to open 7 1080p screens, snap them into the corners, and use the PIP function from a second computer was awesome and very productive. Last thing I plan on doing is entry level image editing of trips from the last few years. I never worked on them before because my last monitors were not very color accurate. All that said, for the price these are amazing for what I'm using them for. My recommendation though is for you to spend a little more and not go smaller than 27" when getting a 4k. Still no regrets. Ps my wife hates them but she gets my old ones so it all works out in the end.

I bought this monitor through a link on Slickdeals.net for $($). I was thrilled when I received it, and it has turned out to be a great monitor, overall. Only cons: - Bit of a high-pitch buzz that is normally overshadowed by the humming of my system's fan, anyway. - The omni-directional power/function button on the back, bottom righthand corner of the monitor can be a little finicky at times.
