I got this for my Sony A7rIII camera and lens. It is just the right size for the camera and a Canon 24-105 lens with a Metabones adapter. I like the bright yellow color. It's easy to see. I am trying to color code my equipment. Yellow for cameras and lenses. Blue for audio, Black for accessories. It makes it easier to get the right case when needed. I'm not a big fan of pick and pluck foam. I prefer the solid foam and cut it with an electric knife. But the foam is easy to cut and make to the size of what I need. The latches have a button that must be pressed before the latch will come open. These are great cases and I really like them.

This is the 2nd Pelican IM2100 I own. It's a very strong, tough case to carry your camera equipment in. I had this case out in the pouring rain and not one drop got in. I'm very happy with this purchase !

My last pelican case was purchased in 1997. The outside of the case is scratched and worn, the inside is perfect. I used the case to protect my camera on whitewater rafting trips on the Colorado River in Utah. I lashed the case to the raft and never gave it a second thought, sometimes even using the case as a step.

I actually bought the "non-foam" version to be a combination "pill box" for all 17 bottles of medications that I carry, as well as a box I can "empty my pockets into". I have knocked it off the bed at least 6 times a day since it was delivered and it looks "brand new". I should get many years of use out of it. I plan on buying more Pelican boxes as they come on sale (low cost boxes with free shipping, in sizes I can use, equal a purchase I would make in a heartbeat).

I store my DSLR camera, two lenses and accessories in it; and there's still extra room. The pick and pluck foam was extremely easy to use.

I have to carry this case from airport to airport for various shoots and it's alot lighter than my Pelican cases. Much better opening device and hinging than the Pelican cases. Probably slightly weaker but more than offset by the weight reduction.

Fantastic case for traveling. I secure it to my motorcycle for travel. Case is too small for D slr expansion. I might be able to cram a small lens, but not the 100-300 I wanted. I think the case weights more than all the camera stuff inside. I does look and feel like it could take some nasty hits. Very sturdy, dust, and waterproof. The internal measurements do not include the padding. I would buy the next size up if I could instead of this one.

I use the iM2100 size for transporting extra lenses; very practical. I also use the model iM2300 for Cameras. I Reguire the light weight. I use two of these instead of one large case.

I like it because it is small and compact and very rugged. I like the tab on the locks to keep you from accidently opening it.

Bought this specifically for canoeing on the Root River in southeastern Minnesota last weekend, and it turned out to be the most important piece of equipment I brought with me! It survived sitting out in the rain all night, laying in fine sand for hours, heavy condensation in the morning, and being submerged when our canoe tipped over; all without any leaks or other damage to the gear inside. I only wish I had gotten a larger one with enough room to fit my brother's Canon Powershot s70 inside, which ended up in the river and ruined.
