A little heavier than what I expected, but I guess not when you consider the size and how sturdy it is. Great latches and handle. With these cases it all comes down to finding a size that works for you. It should last forever.

You cannot beat a Pelican case. Yes, they are expensive however these are always of far more superior quality than competitors. This case looks great. It is solid, sturdy and rugged. Highly recommended.

I use this to transport a Gigapan which is an expensive piece of equipment. It's very well protected because of the sturdiness of the case and the foam insulation inside. It is also very easy to use on airplane flights as it fits in the overhead bin and I don't have to check it. If I do have to check it, the equipment is very well protected.

Started to do a lot of traveling and I was looking for a hard case for extra protection. This case came as part of a rental, it was perfect. Sad when I had to send it back. So, I bought one! So far so good. No complaints. Solid yet fairly light weight. Holds my 2 bodies and a few lenses plus extras like chargers and batteries, etc. Definitely recommended.

My first experience with this type of case begun with the im2050 and was so pleased with the latching system, that I had to get a similar case, as my complete handgun case. I was able to use a Hotwire cutter and get a perfect fit. It has enough room to easily allow me in the future to add another cutout, if I were to buy another highly equipped weapon, and add it side-by-side. American Locks are used to secure my case, and sit very nicely against the case without taking any more room, and is perfect for traveling on airplanes, as checked-in baggage. As a side note, I had my locks engraved and a custom label placed on the case for identification. It's peace of mind, knowing that I have a deterrent to keep someone from attempting to walk away with my precious goods.

I use the product for carrying my camera equipment for crime scene investigations. It is easly moveable from the truck into a scene with all of the camera equipment in one place. I like the Pelican Storm case so much, I have three filled with equipment in my crime scene vehicle.

This is a great product! Pulled the factory foam out and Gorilla glued this set it. I can fit 2 camera bodies, 5 lenses, batteries, cards, flash, cables and an intervalometer in it with room to spare. Great for regular travel and airline travel. Will be buying more in the future.

Nice having the option to replace the foam in your case when you get new gear or the need to re-arrange items in your box. I highly recommend this option if you want to protect your photography gear when you travel. I personally use hard boxes when I go camping or vacationing - I pull out the gear I need and place them back after I finish. I know the box may be bulky, but after an experience of breaking a LCD panel in back of my Digital SLR... I learned my lesson the hard way!

Purchased this for a Handgun Case and it definitely exceeds all expectations. This is basically identical to the Pelican Brand case as I own both but the single best feature of this case is the easy opening latches. My Pelicans are difficult to open with so much pressure but Hardigg has a button that relieves the pressure and they pop right open. Can't say enough good about this case.
