When Adorama calls this a "hot-shoe" adapter, that's not exactly correct, 'cause it has NO contacts at all... sure, it will slide into a hot OR cold show, allowing you to mount the Sunpak 120J Auto-Pro in a shoe, or, as noted in the earlier review, a Nikon TTL cable will mount in a shoe... it's just a handly little tool for anyone who wants/needs to mount a variety of equipment to various cameras or brackets. BTW - Manfrotto makes a similar shoe that's even smaller and lighter...

This little device was a godsend that enabled me to mount my nikon sb600 speedlight to a stroboframe bracket via the SC29 remote ttl cable. The SC29 has a single thread on the bottom while most brackets feature a hotshoe. this little adapter worked like a charm. I wish the shop who sold me the sc29 would have told me I needed one.

Similar in features to the 120J AutoPro with addition of TTL and Autofocus dedication with the optional Sunpak modules. Can also be used with the Sunpak EXT-10 Dedicated Remote Cord for off-camera dedicated use.
