This little tripod is perfect for my desk. It holds my webcam at just the perfect angle and has all the right adjustments. Can't go wrong for the price.

I have a Logitech camera that I've attached to this tripod. It's stationary on my desk for now but it is just the right height so when I look into the camera I'm not looking up or down. It cam right out of the box looking like the picture in the description, I didn't have to put anything together. It also comes with a little carrying bag. I have not tried to loosen it so I can tilt the camera up and down but side to side moves very smoothly. I like that the handle is fairly short especially since it's on my work desk, don't want the handle getting in the way. The legs on the tripod do extend but I don't use it extended.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it appears to be well built and operates smoothly. I like the fact that it comes with it's own little storage bag which makes it easier to carry and protects the tripod from damage.

I use this on my desk to get my phone eye level for video conferencing. There are only 3 height adjustments governed by the leg segments, no intermediate settings. The lever and knob for the pan and tilt controls are very stiff even when set to loose so they’re hard to adjust by feel. I have to mount a phone holder to it to hold the phone. It’s nice how tall it goes and that the legs are easy to extend and lock after I practiced a little. The head also has a landscape/portrait adjustment but it can’t be tweaked into level, you have to pivot the legs to get the head level.

1 pound 7 ounces (638 grams) This is not a lightweight aluminum or composite tripod. It's heavy, it's made of steel. But. Sometimes that's not a problem, sometimes it's an asset. And it is strong and stiff. Fully extended it's kind of springy. I've had one for 16 years and it's labeled "Sami" but I think it's the same unit. It's well made. The hinges for the legs stay where they're put even now.

For this price you can't go wrong. I use it for a Fujifilm XQ2. It packs down nice and small and expands to 17 inches or so. At this price range you won't find another table top tripod that goes as high as this or packs down that small. You can put it into a jacket pocket. I plan to take it on trips abroad since it will be light and compact.

It helps you secure your camara at all times. Although tripods are prohibited in many places, this one is not recognized as one when it is closed.
