Perfect for what I was looking for.

Plan to use it when hiking and the weight and size will be a real plus since I always have a dog with me also.

Handle with care!

While the aluminum parts of this tripod are sturdy (the legs and center column) the plastic parts (everything else!) are suspect. I used this tripod for all of two night time sessions and the tilt adjustment knob easily got stripped, effectively ruining the unit. So for the price it's fairly sturdy, but beware that you need to be gentle with this thing! It even held up well taking 30 second exposures in a stiff 15-20 mph wind.

Extraordinary Value!

I was looking for a light tripod that was (frankly) cheap...this fills the bill very effectively...for the price (under $20 including shipping) I am amazed at the quality...while I'm sure it wouldn't compare to a $200 tripod, I think it is fine for my purposes...and, as usual, Adorama's shipping was extremely fast...ordered one day, received it the next!

For the price you can't get a better tripod. Very good construction and light.

It was great for a couple of weeks

By

This tripod is the perfect size to walk around with, and the carrying bag makes carrying it around the city a breeze. However, the construction is rather lackluster. The lever that controls the pitch and locks it in place stripped and now it no longer locks. I'd love to give this product a glowing review as it's far better than my old tripod. But it's just not well put together.

Is any good? yes

By

I was looking for a affordable tripod that i could use everyday and not be worried about damaging in outdoor use. This was perfect for that. It's a nice stable tripod and I honestly think it does a well enough job as the more expensive ones. But i do wish it was a little taller but hey for the price can't complain.

A great small tripod, well worth it.

I am a bit different as I use the tripod to hold my paint box. It is light small and does the job. What else could one ask.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  does this kind of brand tripod comes with a bag to carry it or i need to a separate one?
LESH R  The normal package does not come with a case. At the time I purchased they did have a promotion where they sent a case out for free but I'm not sure if that is still in effect. For this price range this is the best tripod I've found in terms of stability and build quality.
duthika c  is this plastic?
