The price is right.protect my lens. The fist time the filter arrive with a scratch in the glass. I email them with photos of the damage. They immediately resend me a new one without hassle.

My camera is frequently outside taking photos everywhere from the beach to vinyards. Sunpak filters keep the dirt, grease, dust and finger prints off my lens. They are inexpensive and add little in the way of reflections or image degrigation. And they are inexpensive. Smudges, dust and fingerprints on the filter- just wipe it off with no wear on the lens. They come in all sizes and I've purchased them for all my lenses.

I was looking for a lens protector for my Canon 50 mm f1.8 prime, and this fit the bill. Screwed on without a hitch, and it's doing what it should do. I haven't done a whole lot of shooting in bright sunlight with the filter attached, so I can't speak very much to the UV filtering qualities. Some other reviewers have warned against overly tightening the filter because it's then difficult to unscrew, and I'd agree with those reviews.

Keep a lens cleaner available, seems like the filter attracts more dust via static.

Absorbs the ultraviolet rays which often makes outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct.
A muliti-purpose fine-weather filter for color as well as black and white films.
